OESJ VOTERS APPROVE BUDGET, 2 MEMBERS ELECTED TO BOE

On May 21, Oppenheim-Ephratah-St.Johnsville School District voters approved a $23.5 million budget for the 2024-25 school year by a vote of 175 to 57, a margin of 75%.

“We are grateful for the community’s unwavering support of our districts mission to prepare students for future success,” said Superintendent Adam Heroth.

Board of Education results

Voters elected two members to serve on the District Board of Education as well: Incumbents Anton Christensen and Steven Polidori were elected and will each serve full three year terms.

There were three candidates vying for two seats on the Board of Education. Here are the vote totals:

Voters also approved a proposition to authorize bus purchases by a vote of 204 to 47.
